ALL ABOARD!
(Mar. 4, 2011)
Mister Mole and Ratty floating in Ratty’s boat
Said Mister Mole to Ratty “I’m happy to be afloat.
‘Cos moles aren’t much for swimming…
It’s nice to have a friend like you around.”
Mister Mole and Ratty disembarked beside Toad Hall
And Mister Toad was happy now that he could show them all
“I’ve given up on boating
I’ve got myself a horse and caravan.
All Aboard… All Aboard… All Aboard!”
Mister Mole and Ratty in Toad’s new caravan
Said Mister Toad to Ratty “’Tis the best way to see the land!
And everyone wants to join us
Everybody wants to be tag along.
All Aboard… All Aboard… All Aboard!”
Mister Toad drives proudly in a stolen motorcar
Said Mister Toad quite loudly “I can go so fast… so far!”
His driving’s so outrageous
They will lock him up and throw away the key.
Toad escapes from prison in a washer-woman’s guise
He finds his way to Ratty’s… much to his surprise
“My adventures are behind me
The humble Mister Toad has now arrived.
All Aboard… All Aboard… All Aboard!”
Everyone needs a friend like Ratty… I need one, too.
Hand in hand until the end like Ratty… Can I count on you?
Ratty, Mole and Badger chased the weasels from Toad Hall
Said Mister Toad so happy “I sincerely thank you all!”
There’s a breeze… it’s the Wind in the Willows.
